Towards World Class IP Office, DJKI Performs Quality Management Certification and Anti-Bribery Management System

There are four important points to getting to a world-class IP office. The important point is to complete the DJKI performance target measurably and provide the best service to the public. Another point is to maintain the governance of DJKI to remain accountable, transparent, and integrity as well as to provide the best service in the protection of intellectual property (IP).

CEO of BSC Consulting Wahyudin Lihawa said that to answer this challenge, DJKI needs to adopt international standards of QMS ISO 9001:2015 & SMAP ISO 37001:2016. The importance of adopting this is that DJKI can demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations.


"In addition, it can also increase customer satisfaction through managing the IP service process and guaranteeing compliance with customer requirements and applicable laws and regulations to create an effective implementation of the IP service system," Wahyudin said.

Another objective of adopting the certification is to prevent, detect and respond to bribery practices in the provision of IP services. The implementation of a quality management system is a strategic decision for an organization that can help improve its overall performance and provide a solid foundation as a sustainable development initiative.
